Truss Tool – Physical Mounting vs DMX Movement
The Truss Mount Tool changes the orientation of the fixture body relative to the truss.
It does not directly change:
- DMX Pan
- DMX Tilt
- Pan Invert
- Tilt Invert
- Console movement values
For example, a fixture may be physically mounted at:
90°
while its moving head still uses its own DMX Pan and Tilt normally.
Think of these as two separate systems:
Truss Mount Tool
→ Physical installation angle
DMX Pan / Tilt
→ Fixture movement during operation
