Moving a Node

Nodes can be repositioned directly inside the NeonFX visual editor.

Moving a node changes the Tube path connected to that point.

Select the Node

First, look directly at the node and click it to select it.

Grab the Node

With the node selected:

  1. Hold Shift.
  2. Left-click the selected node.
  3. Keep holding Shift while moving your crosshair.

The node follows the position you are aiming at while it is being moved.

Confirm the Movement

To place the node in its new position:

  • Release Shift, or
  • Left-click again.

NeonFX then commits the movement as a single undo step.

What Changes

Moving the node updates the connected Tube geometry.

If the node is part of a curved section, the path around that node will also update based on its current Bézier handles.

Made a Mistake?

Use Undo to return to the previous position.
