Committing a Move

When you move a node or Bézier handle, NeonFX keeps that movement active until you confirm it.

The movement is only committed once you finish the drag action.

Start the Move

After selecting a node or handle:

  1. Hold Shift.
  2. Left-click the selected object.
  3. Keep holding Shift while moving your crosshair.

Commit the Position

To confirm the new position:

  • Release Shift, or
  • Left-click again.

NeonFX then commits the completed drag as a single undo step.

Why This Matters

Treating the full drag as one action makes it easier to correct mistakes.

Instead of recording every small movement, NeonFX stores the completed repositioning as one editor step.

After Committing

Once the move is committed, you can continue editing normally or use Undo if you want to return to the previous position.
