Reporting a Bug
If you encounter a problem with StrobeLights, bug reports should be submitted through the official Discord server.
Use either the Help section or open a Ticket so the issue can be reviewed properly.

Information to Include
To make troubleshooting faster, include as much of the following information as possible:
- StrobeLights version
- Minecraft version
- Server software and version
- Java version
- Clear steps to reproduce the issue
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Relevant console errors
latest.log- Screenshots or videos when useful
The more complete the report is, the easier it will be to reproduce and investigate the issue.
Configuration Files
Attaching your config.yml is not required, but it can be very helpful for configuration-related problems.
Before sharing configuration files, review them and remove any information you do not want to make public, such as private server addresses or other sensitive values.
Resource Pack Issues
For problems involving the StrobeLights resource pack, also include:
- The configured
public-url - Whether you use the built-in HTTP server or external hosting
- The HTTP port, if applicable
- Any resource-pack warning shown in the server console
- Any message or error shown to the player
- A screenshot of the issue if possible
If the pack is externally hosted, confirming whether the URL provides a direct file download can also help identify the problem quickly.
Before Reporting
Before opening a bug report, it is recommended to:
- Check Common Issues for a known solution.
- Restart the server.
- Confirm that the correct StrobeLights version is installed.
- Check the console for errors or warnings.
- Verify the resource pack configuration if the issue involves rendering or GUI assets.
If the problem continues, open a Help request or Ticket on Discord with the available information.
