How Can We Help?
Straight Nodes and Curved Nodes
Nodes can be used to create either straight sections or curved sections of a Tube.
The difference depends on whether the node’s Bézier handles have been moved.
Straight Nodes
By default, a newly created node remains straight.
NeonFX does not automatically create or smooth curve handles for it.
This means the Tube follows a direct path between nodes unless you manually adjust the curve.
Curved Nodes
A node becomes part of a curved section when one of its visible Bézier handles is moved.
The handles control how the Tube enters and leaves that node.
Each node can expose:
- IN handle
- OUT handle
These handles are edited separately from the node itself.
When to use each type
Use straight nodes for:
- Sharp corners
- Straight neon lines
- Geometric shapes
- Precise angled designs
Use curved nodes for:
- Smooth bends
- Rounded signs
- Logos
- Organic shapes
- Decorative curves
