Fixing a Bad Curve
If a curve does not look right, you usually do not need to rebuild the Tube.
You can correct it by adjusting the node, its handles, or by undoing the last change.
Check the Node Position
First, make sure the node itself is in the right place.
If the anchor point is wrong, moving the handles alone may not produce the shape you want.
Adjust the Handles
Select the IN or OUT handle and move it until the curve improves.
Remember:
- IN affects how the Tube enters the node.
- OUT affects how the Tube leaves the node.
NeonFX does not automatically smooth or realign handles, so each side may need manual adjustment.
Make Smaller Changes
If the curve becomes too wide or too sharp, move the handle closer to the node and adjust it gradually.
Small changes are usually easier to control.
Undo the Last Change
If the curve became worse after a movement, use:
/neonfx undo
Each completed drag is stored as a single undo step.
Redo if Needed
If you undo too far, use:
/neonfx redo
to restore the previous action.
Rebuild Only When Necessary
Most curve problems can be fixed by repositioning nodes or handles.
Rebuilding the Tube should usually be the last option.
