Maximum Number of Strobes

This setting defines the maximum number of strobes that can exist on the server.

The default limit is:

256 strobes

The total number of stored strobes can affect performance, especially when many of them are active or located close to players.

There is currently no separate hard limit for simultaneously active strobes.

Because of this, server administrators should avoid activating unnecessarily large numbers of lights at the same time.

Estimated Recommendations

As a starting point:

Installation	Approximate Strobe Count
Small setup	< 50
Medium setup	50–150
Large setup	150–256
Above default limit	Test carefully

These numbers are only general estimates. Actual performance depends heavily on hardware, player count, refresh speeds and how concentrated the lights are.
