Refresh Speed

Fast strobes require more frequent updates than slow strobes.

For example:

1 tick/phase

updates much more frequently than:

100 ticks/phase

As a result, very fast strobes can increase processing and network activity when many are running at the same time.

For large installations, avoid setting every light to extremely fast values unless the effect actually requires it.

A few fast strobes are normally much less demanding than dozens or hundreds of lights all updating every tick.
