Saving an Edit Session

Saving an edit session commits the current working copy and updates the Drawing.

Until the session is saved, the changes remain part of the editor workflow rather than the final stored Drawing.

Save the Session

You can save from the editor GUI or run:

/neonfx save

Saving applies the current changes to the Drawing.

What Gets Saved

The current edited state of the Drawing is committed when you save.

This includes the changes made during the active session, such as geometry and supported editor settings.

After Saving

Once the session is saved, the Drawing becomes the new stored version used by NeonFX.

You can later open it again with:

/neonfx edit <drawing>

Save vs Cancel

Saving keeps the current changes.

Cancelling leaves the previously saved Drawing unchanged.

Cancelling is explained separately in:

Cancelling an Edit Session
