Interrupted Edit Sessions

An edit session can sometimes end unexpectedly before you have a chance to save or cancel it normally.

NeonFX includes a recovery system for these situations.

What Happens After an Interruption

If an edit session is interrupted, NeonFX can save the current working copy as a recovery file.

The live saved Drawing remains untouched until you explicitly resume and save the recovered session.

Common Causes

An edit session may be interrupted by things such as:

• Disconnecting from the server
• Server shutdown
• Server restart
• Unexpected session termination

Check for Recovery Files

Use:

/neonfx recovery list

This shows the unfinished edit sessions that NeonFX has stored.

What You Can Do Next

From the recovery system, you can either:

• Resume the unfinished session
• Discard the recovery file
