Resuming an Edit Session

If NeonFX saved an interrupted edit session as a recovery file, you can reopen that working copy and continue editing it.

Check Available Recovery Files

First, list the available recovery files:

/neonfx recovery list

This shows the unfinished sessions currently stored by NeonFX.

Resume a Session

Use:

/neonfx recovery resume <file>

Replace <file> with the recovery file you want to reopen.

NeonFX opens the saved working copy so you can continue editing it.

Continue Editing

Once resumed, you can continue using the normal NeonFX editor tools.

When you are finished, save the session normally with:

/neonfx save

The Live Drawing Stays Safe

Resuming a recovery file does not immediately replace the saved Drawing.

The live Drawing remains untouched until the recovered working copy is saved.

Discard Instead

If you no longer need the recovery file, use:

/neonfx recovery discard <file>

Discarding removes only that recovery file and does not delete the saved Drawing.
