Network Requirements

Because Art-Net operates over an IP network, correct network configuration is required.

Successful operation can depend on:

• Correct computer network interface
• Correct IP configuration
• Firewall configuration
• Lighting software output configuration
• Correct Art-Net source universe
• Correct TRP Rack configuration
• Correct Theatrical Network
• Correct fixture universe and address

Art-Net should therefore be treated as part of the complete lighting network rather than as an isolated fixture setting.
