Because Art-Net operates over an IP network, correct network configuration is required.
Successful operation can depend on:
- Correct computer network interface
- Correct IP configuration
- Firewall configuration
- Lighting software output configuration
- Correct Art-Net source universe
- Correct TRP Rack configuration
- Correct Theatrical Network
- Correct fixture universe and address
Art-Net should therefore be treated as part of the complete lighting network rather than as an isolated fixture setting.
