What is Art-Net?

Art-Net is one of the network protocols supported by Theatrical: Realistic Pack (TRP) for receiving lighting-control data from external software and consoles.

Instead of connecting a physical DMX cable to Minecraft, Art-Net transports DMX-style universe data over an IP network.

In TRP, Art-Net data does not go directly from the external controller to individual fixtures.

The signal is received through a configured TRP Rack Node, which then routes the incoming Art-Net universe into the appropriate Theatrical Network and universe structure used by TRP fixtures.
