How Can We Help?
Editing a Drawing
Existing Drawings can be reopened in the NeonFX editor whenever you need to modify them.
Open a Drawing for Editing
Use:
/neonfx edit <drawing>
Replace <drawing> with the name of the Drawing you want to edit.
What Happens When You Edit
NeonFX opens an edit session for that Drawing.
During the session, you can modify its geometry and other editable properties without immediately changing the live saved version.
This lets you work safely before committing the final result.
Editing Tools
While a Drawing is open in the editor, you can use tools such as:
- Node editing
- Tube editing
- Undo and redo
- Layer adjustments
- Thickness changes
- Color changes
- Render quality changes
These tools are explained separately in the Visual Editor section.
Finish the Edit Session
When you are done, you can either save or cancel the session.
Saving applies the changes.
Cancelling leaves the existing saved Drawing unchanged.
The full save and cancel workflow is explained in:
Saving and Cancelling Changes
