How Can We Help?
Straight vs Curved Handles
A node can behave as part of a straight path or as part of a curved path.
The difference depends on how its Bézier handles are positioned.
Straight Path
A node stays straight when its handles have not been moved.
NeonFX does not automatically create or smooth curves for new nodes.
This is useful for:
- Straight lines
- Sharp corners
- Geometric shapes
- Precise angled designs
Curved Path
A curved path appears when an IN or OUT handle is moved away from its default position.
The handle then controls the shape of the curve on that side of the node.
Mixing Straight and Curved Sections
A single Tube can contain both straight and curved sections.
This lets you combine:
- Straight edges
- Smooth bends
- Sharp changes
- Rounded transitions
without creating a separate Tube.
Manual Control
NeonFX keeps curve editing fully manual.
Handles are not automatically aligned or smoothed, so you decide exactly how each curve should behave.
