How Can We Help?
Network Roles
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| NONE | Network member, but cannot send DMX or administer the network |
| SEND | Network member who can send DMX |
| ADMIN | Can send DMX and manage network name, mode, members, roles and deletion |
| OP | Can inspect and administer networks through the command system |
NONE
A player with:
NONE
is still considered a member of the network.
However, that player does not have permission to:
- Send DMX
- Administer the network
This role is useful when membership is required without granting operational control.
SEND
A player with:
SEND
is a network member and can transmit DMX through that network.
This role is appropriate for lighting operators who need to control the show but should not modify network administration.
ADMIN
A player with:
ADMIN
can:
- Send DMX
- Rename the network
- Change network mode
- Add members
- Remove members
- Change member roles
- Delete the network
This is the main network-management role.
OP
Minecraft operators can administer networks through the command system regardless of normal network roles.
However, command access and fixture-interaction access are not always identical.
