Rack Shows Stale Data
If the rack shows:
STALE
TRP previously received valid traffic, but that traffic has stopped recently.
The reviewed implementation considers:
- Data received within approximately 2.5 seconds as Live
- Data last received within approximately 10 seconds as Stale
- Older data as No Data
If the rack repeatedly switches between Live and Stale, check:
- Network stability
- Lighting-software output
- Network interface selection
- Wi-Fi reliability
- Firewall or security software
- Whether the controller is continuously transmitting
For live show control, wired Ethernet is recommended where possible.
