Creating a New Tube

A Drawing can contain multiple Tubes.

You can create another Tube without creating a new Drawing.

Create a Tube with a Command

Use:

/neonfx tube <drawing> add [name]

Replace <drawing> with the Drawing that should receive the new Tube.

The Tube name is optional.

Create a Tube While Editing

While a Drawing is open in the visual editor, you can also start another Tube directly.

Use:

Shift + right-click on empty space

This starts a new Tube inside the current Drawing.

Continue Drawing

Once the new Tube has been started, you can add nodes normally to build its path.

The new Tube remains part of the same Drawing.

When to Create Another Tube

Create another Tube when you need a separate continuous path inside the same design.

For example:

  • Another letter in a sign
  • A disconnected part of a logo
  • A separate decorative line
  • Another section that should still be controlled with the same Drawing
