Resource Pack Updates

Plugin updates may also include a newer version of the StrobeLights resource pack.

What you need to do depends on how your server delivers the pack.

Using the Built-In Resource Pack Server

If StrobeLights is configured to host the resource pack itself, no manual resource-pack replacement should normally be required.

After updating the plugin and restarting the server, StrobeLights exports and serves the current bundled resource pack automatically.

As long as your public-url and HTTP server configuration remain correct, players will receive the updated resource pack automatically.

Using External Hosting

If your resource pack is hosted on:

• Your website
• A CDN
• Your hosting provider
• Another external file service

you must manually upload the new resource pack included with the updated plugin.

Replace the previous file on your hosting service and ensure that:

resource-pack:
  public-url:

points to the correct direct-download URL.

If the external URL changes, update config.yml accordingly.

The URL must continue to point directly to the downloadable ZIP file.
