Optional Integrations
Optional compatibility should not be confused with a dependency.
If an optional compatible mod is not installed:
- TRP can still load normally
- TRP’s own fixtures remain available
- TRP’s own F34 rigging system remains available
- External compatible structures from that mod simply will not be present
This allows users to choose the stage-building ecosystem that best suits their installation.
Compatibility Does Not Mean Full Integration
A mod being listed as compatible does not necessarily mean every block, item or feature from that mod is supported.
For example, TRP may recognise specific:
- Truss types
- Rigging pipes
- Quad-truss variants
without implementing integration with every structure provided by the external mod.
Only explicitly recognised compatibility should be considered supported.
Other Mods
TRP may work alongside many other Forge mods that do not directly interact with its systems.
However, the absence of a known conflict does not automatically mean that every mod combination has been tested.
Mods that significantly modify:
- Rendering
- Block interaction
- Networking
- World geometry
- Entity rendering
- Minecraft’s graphics pipeline
may have a greater chance of affecting TRP behaviour.
Specific known incompatibilities should be documented separately under Known Conflicts.
Version Differences
Compatibility should always be checked against the Minecraft branch being used.
The reviewed compatibility information in this documentation is based primarily on the Minecraft 1.20.1 implementation unless otherwise stated.
The newer TRP branches may integrate or replace systems differently.
When installing optional compatibility mods, make sure every mod involved supports the same Minecraft and Forge version.
