World Compatibility

Moving a world between Minecraft/TRP branches should be treated as a migration, not as a normal mod update.

Compatibility between different Minecraft branches is not guaranteed.

Before migrating:

1. Back up the world.
2. Back up the config folder.
3. Back up the mods folder.
4. Update Minecraft.
5. Update Forge.
6. Update Java if required.
7. Install the correct TRP build.
8. Review dependency changes.
9. Verify fixture patching and configuration after migration.

Changes between branches may affect:

• Registered blocks and items
• Fixture personalities
• Saved data
• Networking
• Configuration
• Dependencies
• Other installed mods
