External Shader Packs
External Minecraft shader packs can be used alongside TRP.
However:
Compatibility is not guaranteed.
Shader packs can significantly modify Minecraft’s rendering pipeline, which may interfere with the systems TRP uses for its own lighting effects.
Depending on the shader pack, you may encounter:
- Incorrect beam rendering
- Missing projections
- Transparency issues
- Depth problems
- Incorrect colours
- Unexpected lighting behaviour
- Visual artifacts
- Reduced performance
- Effects appearing through or behind geometry incorrectly
Some shader packs may work correctly, while others may only partially work or may not be compatible at all.
