Asymmetric Curves

NeonFX lets you shape the two sides of a node independently.

This makes it possible to create asymmetric curves where the incoming and outgoing sections have different shapes.

Use IN and OUT Separately

The IN handle controls how the Tube approaches the node.

The OUT handle controls how the Tube leaves the node.

Because these handles are edited independently, they do not need to match.

Create an Asymmetric Shape

For example, you can:

• Use a wide incoming curve
• Use a tight outgoing curve
• Keep one side almost straight
• Create a strong bend on only one side

Why This is Useful

Asymmetric curves are useful for:

• Custom lettering
• Logos
• Organic shapes
• Irregular decorative designs
• Curves that need different entry and exit angles

Manual Control

NeonFX does not automatically mirror or smooth the handles.

You control both sides manually, which gives you full control over the final shape.
