Redo

The Redo tool restores an action that was previously reversed with Undo.

Use Redo

Run:

/neonfx redo

This reapplies the most recently undone editor action.

When Redo is Useful

Redo is useful when:

  • You undo the wrong action
  • You want to compare a change before keeping it
  • You move backward too far through the edit history

Undo and Redo Together

Undo moves backward through supported editor changes.

Redo moves forward again through changes that were undone.

This makes it easier to experiment with geometry while keeping control of the current edit session.

During an Edit Session

Undo and Redo are available while a Drawing is being edited.

They are part of the active editor workflow together with Save, Cancel and the other editor controls.
