How Can We Help?
Layer Control
NeonFX includes a layer control inside the visual editor.
Layers are used to change the relative depth offset while editing a Drawing.
Layer Command
The editor command set includes:
/neonfx editor layer
Layer control is available during an active edit session.
Hotbar Layer Control
You can also change the current relative layer by changing your selected hotbar slot while editing.
What Layer Control Changes
Changing the layer affects the relative positioning used by the editor.
It does not create:
- A new Drawing
- A new Tube
- A separate saved object
It only changes the current editing offset.
When to Use Layers
Layer control is useful for:
- Overlapping Tube sections
- Multi-depth signs
- Front and back elements
- Complex designs with several visual planes
Exact Command Arguments
The current NeonFX documentation confirms that /neonfx editor layer exists, but it does not define its exact arguments or values.
Those details should only be added once they are confirmed in the public build.
