Quality Control

NeonFX lets you change the render quality used while editing a Drawing.

This affects the active editor preview and can also be stored with the Drawing when the session is saved.

Change Editor Quality

Use:

/neonfx editor quality <preset>

Available quality presets are:

  • LOW_POLY
  • LOW
  • MEDIUM
  • HIGH
  • ULTRA
  • ORIGINAL

The selected editor quality is stored when the Drawing is saved.

Quality in the GUI

The same quality selector is also available from the Editor GUI.

This lets you change the preview quality without using the command directly.

LOW_POLY Aliases

The following values are also accepted:

LOWPOLY
LOW-POLY

Both are interpreted as LOW_POLY.

Editor Quality vs Drawing Quality

Editor quality controls the active editing preview.

Drawing quality can also be changed directly with:

/neonfx drawing <name> quality <preset>

The Drawing quality system is explained separately in:

NeonFX Basics → Rendering & Visibility → Render Quality
