Resource Pack Rendering
NeonFX uses a version-specific resource pack to provide the custom models used by its renderer.
The resource pack is generated for the Minecraft version targeted by the installed NeonFX build.
What the Resource Pack Contains
The pack includes the models and textures required by NeonFX, including:
- ROUND Tube models
- SQUARE Tube models
- Preview models
- Node and handle models
- NeonFX item textures
Reusable Models
NeonFX does not create a different model file for every Tube segment.
Instead, reusable models are transformed in-game to match the segment’s:
- Length
- Direction
- Profile
- Diameter
Target-Specific Pack
Each supported Minecraft family uses its own resource-pack metadata.
NeonFX validates the pack format at startup and can regenerate the local pack when the installed pack does not match the current Minecraft format.
Resource Pack Delivery
Players must be able to download the pack from a public HTTP or HTTPS URL.
