Adding Nodes

Nodes are added directly inside the NeonFX visual editor.

Each new node extends the current Tube path.

Add a Node

While editing a Drawing:

  1. Look at the position where you want the next node.
  2. Make sure you are pointing at empty space.
  3. Right-click.

NeonFX adds a new node at that position.

Live Path Preview

Before placing the next node, NeonFX shows a live preview from the last node to your crosshair.

This lets you see the next section of the Tube before placing it.

Continue the Tube

Keep right-clicking on empty space to continue adding nodes.

Each new node extends the same Tube until you start another Tube or finish the edit session.

Straight by Default

New nodes do not automatically create curves.

A node remains straight until one of its Bézier handles is moved.

Curved sections are explained separately in:

NeonFX Basics → Bezier Handles
