Node Positioning

Node position determines the exact path followed by a Tube.

In NeonFX, nodes are positioned directly through the visual editor.

Positioning a New Node

When creating a Tube, look at the position where you want the next node and right-click.

The new node is placed using the position indicated by your crosshair.

Repositioning an Existing Node

Existing nodes can be moved after they have been created.

Select the node, hold Shift, left-click it and move your crosshair while keeping Shift held.

Release Shift or left-click again to confirm the new position.

Live Preview

While building a Tube, NeonFX displays the current path and a provisional segment from the last node to your crosshair.

This helps you preview the next section before placing the node.

Layers

NeonFX also supports relative layer adjustments while editing.

Changing the hotbar slot adjusts the current layer offset.
