Editor Modes

NeonFX includes an editor mode control that can be changed while an edit session is active.

The editor command group includes:

/neonfx editor mode

alongside other editor controls such as nudge, thickness, color, quality, layer and handles.

What Editor Mode Does

The active editor mode determines how the current editing tools behave while working on the Drawing.

It is part of the active edit session and does not create a new Drawing or Tube.

Other Editor Controls

Editor mode is separate from settings such as:

  • Nudge
  • Thickness
  • Color
  • Quality
  • Layer
  • Handle controls

Each of these will be explained separately in the Editor Tools section.

The current NeonFX command reference confirms the editor mode control but does not define the individual mode names or their exact behavior. This page should be expanded once those values are documented in the public build.
