What is the Visual Editor?

The Visual Editor is the in-game workspace used to create and modify NeonFX Drawings.

It lets you build Tube geometry directly inside Minecraft without using external modelling software.

What You Can Do

Inside the editor, you can work with:

  • Tubes
  • Nodes
  • Bézier handles
  • Thickness
  • Color
  • Quality
  • Layers

You can also use tools such as undo and redo while working on the Drawing.

Live Visual Feedback

NeonFX shows the current path while you edit.

When creating geometry, the editor also displays a provisional segment from the last node to your crosshair so you can preview the next section before placing it.

Safe Editing

The editor works with an edit session.

Changes are not committed to the live Drawing until you save them.

If you cancel the session, the saved Drawing remains unchanged.

Editor Controls

Most geometry editing is done directly in the world using the NeonFX Pen, clicks, Shift and the hotbar.

Each editor action is explained separately in the following articles.
