IP Network vs Theatrical Network
These are two completely different concepts.
IP Network
The real computer network used to transport:
- Art-Net
- sACN
- Other Ethernet traffic
This involves your:
- Computer or server
- Network adapter
- Router or switch
- Lighting console
- Lighting software
- Firewall
Theatrical Network
A logical network used internally by TRP/Theatrical to organise fixtures and rack nodes.
For example:
IP Address: 2.0.0.1
and:
Theatrical Network: Main Stage
refer to completely different systems.
Do not confuse the two.
