Creating Curved Sections

Curved sections are created by adjusting the Bézier handles attached to a node.

NeonFX does not create curves automatically. New nodes remain straight until one of their visible handles is moved.

Create a Curve

  1. Place the nodes that define the section.
  2. Select the node you want to curve.
  3. Select its IN or OUT handle.
  4. Move the handle.

The Tube path updates as the handle position changes.

IN and OUT Control

The two handles affect different sides of the node:

  • IN controls how the Tube approaches the node.
  • OUT controls how the Tube leaves the node.

Using both gives you more control over the final curve shape.

Adjust the Shape

Move the handle until the curve follows the shape you want.

The node itself stays in the same position while the handle changes the path around it.

Mix Straight and Curved Sections

A single Tube can contain both straight and curved sections.

This lets you combine sharp geometry with smooth bends without creating separate Tubes.
