Extending a Tube

A Tube is extended by adding more nodes to its current path.

Each new node creates another section connected to the previous one.

Extend the Current Tube

While editing:

  1. Look at the next position you want to use.
  2. Right-click on empty space.
  3. NeonFX adds another node and extends the Tube to that point.

Live Preview

Before placing the node, NeonFX shows a provisional segment from the current end of the Tube to your crosshair.

This makes it easier to judge the direction and length of the next section.

Keep Extending

You can continue adding nodes for as long as needed.

All of those nodes remain part of the same Tube until you start a new Tube or finish the edit session.

Straight and Curved Sections

New sections are straight by default.

If you want part of the Tube to curve, adjust the Bézier handles after placing the nodes.
