Creating Straight Sections

Straight sections are the default geometry created between NeonFX nodes.

You do not need to configure anything special to create them.

Create a Straight Section

While editing:

  1. Place a node.
  2. Look at another position.
  3. Right-click on empty space to place the next node.

NeonFX connects both nodes with a straight section.

Straight by Default

New nodes do not automatically use curved Bézier handles.

A section stays straight until one of its visible handles is moved.

Create Angles

You can build angled shapes by placing several straight sections in different directions.

This is useful for:

  • Frames
  • Borders
  • Geometric logos
  • Sharp lettering
  • LED-style designs

Convert to a Curve

A straight section can later become curved by adjusting the Bézier handles connected to its nodes.
