Creating Curves

Curves in NeonFX are created by moving the Bézier handles attached to a node.

Nodes are straight by default, so a curve only appears after one of its handles is adjusted.

Create a Curve

  1. Select a node.
  2. Select its IN or OUT handle.
  3. Move the handle away from the node.
  4. Adjust its position until the curve has the shape you want.

NeonFX updates the Tube path while you move the handle, allowing you to shape the curve visually.

Control the Curve

The direction and distance of the handle from the node affect the resulting curve.

Moving the handle farther away creates a wider curve, while moving it closer creates a tighter transition.

Using Both Handles

You can adjust both the IN and OUT handles when you want more control over how the Tube enters and leaves the node.

Each handle affects its own side of the node.

Straight Again

If you want to remove the visible curve, move the handle back so the path becomes straight again.

NeonFX does not automatically smooth or reshape handles for you.
