Moving a Handle

Bézier handles can be moved directly inside the NeonFX visual editor.

Moving a handle changes the curve around its node without moving the node itself.

Select the Handle

First, look directly at the IN or OUT handle endpoint and click it.

Grab the Handle

With the handle selected:

  1. Hold Shift.
  2. Left-click the selected handle.
  3. Keep holding Shift while moving your crosshair.

The handle follows the position you are aiming at.

Confirm the Position

To finish the movement:

  • Release Shift, or
  • Left-click again.

NeonFX commits the movement as a single undo step.

What Changes

Moving the handle changes the shape of the connected curve.

The node itself stays in the same position.

If you move the handle in the wrong direction, you can use the editor’s Undo function.
