Changing the Profile

A Tube profile can be changed without rebuilding the Tube.

Changing the profile only affects the Tube’s cross-section shape.

Change the Profile

Use:

/neonfx tube <drawing> profile <ROUND|SQUARE>

Replace <drawing> with the Drawing that contains the Tube.

Available Profiles

You can choose between:

• ROUND
• SQUARE

Both profiles use the same Tube path. Only the rendered shape changes.

What does not change

Changing the profile does not modify:

• Nodes
• Bézier handles
• Tube direction
• Drawing structure

The geometry remains the same.

Profile and Thickness

The profile controls the Tube shape.

Thickness is a separate setting and can be adjusted independently.
