Beam Renderer Startup Warmup

Range: 0–1200 ticks
Default: 80 ticks

At Minecraft’s normal 20 ticks per second, the default represents approximately:

4 seconds

The startup warmup gives the TRP beam renderer a short delay before beginning its more expensive rendering work.

This can help avoid unnecessary load while:

  • Joining a world
  • Loading chunks
  • Initialising fixture data
  • Synchronising multiplayer state
  • Starting the renderer

For most users, the default value should be left unchanged.

A value of:

0 ticks

removes the startup warmup entirely.
