Building Multi-Tube Shapes

Complex designs can use several Tubes inside the same Drawing.

This is useful when the final shape contains disconnected sections that still belong to one design.

Start with the First Tube

Create the first part of the design normally by placing nodes and shaping the path.

Start Another Tube

When you need a disconnected section:

  1. Hold Shift.
  2. Right-click on empty space.

NeonFX starts a new Tube inside the same Drawing.

Continue Building

Add nodes to the new Tube normally.

You can repeat this process as many times as needed to build the complete design.

When Multi-Tube Shapes Make Sense

Multiple Tubes are useful for:

  • Logos with separate parts
  • Multi-letter signs
  • Decorative shapes with gaps
  • Complex symbols
  • Designs that should be controlled as one Drawing

One Drawing, Several Tubes

Even when a Drawing contains several Tubes, Drawing-level controls still affect the whole design.

If you need separate control, create a different Drawing instead.
