At close range, the effect can reach:

Screen Flash: EXTREME
Flash Power: 200%

The effect is strongest near the flashbang and progressively decreases with distance.

By default:

radius: 24.0
full-effect-distance: 5.0
effect-falloff-exponent: 1.2
maximum-screen-flash-duration-ticks: 100

Players within approximately the first 5 blocks receive the strongest effect. Beyond that distance, the flash strength and duration progressively fall off until the configured radius is reached.
