Wrong Fixture Personality

The fixture mode in TRP should correspond to the personality being used by the external controller.

A mismatch can produce behaviour such as:

  • Wrong movement
  • Incorrect colour
  • Unexpected strobe
  • Incorrect gobos
  • Wrong pixel behaviour
  • Functions responding on the wrong channels

For example, patching a fixture as a 39-channel mode in the console while TRP is using a 34-channel mode will produce a different channel layout.

Always check:

  • Fixture model
  • TRP personality
  • External console personality
  • Channel footprint
