DMX Basics
Theatrical: Realistic Pack (TRP) uses concepts from real entertainment-lighting control systems to configure and control its fixtures.
To work with TRP effectively, you only need to understand a few basic concepts:
- DMX Universe
- DMX Address
- Fixture Mode / Personality
- Channel Count / Footprint
- Theatrical Network
- Art-Net / sACN
These concepts determine where a fixture receives its control data and how that data is interpreted.
