What is DMX?
DMX is the control system used by TRP fixtures to determine how their different functions should behave.
Depending on the fixture and selected personality, DMX can control functions such as:
- Pan
- Tilt
- Dimmer
- Shutter / Strobe
- Colour
- Zoom
- Focus
- Frost
- Gobos
- Prisms
- Iris
- Framing
- Pixels
- Patterns
- Fixture-specific effects
Not every fixture supports every function.
Each fixture has its own DMX personalities and implemented feature set.
