Updating Within the Same Minecraft Version

For a normal update within the same Minecraft version:

1. Download the new TRP version.
2. Open your Minecraft or server mods folder.
3. Remove the old TRP .jar.
4. Place the new TRP .jar inside the same folder.
5. Start Minecraft or the server again.

TRP is designed to preserve existing configuration and world data whenever possible.

Placed fixtures, patch information and other saved systems should normally remain available after updating.

However, some updates may intentionally modify:

• Fixture DMX profiles
• Personality channel layouts
• Fixture behaviour
• Saved-data formats
• Configuration options
• Rendering systems
• Other internal systems

When this happens, some existing setups may require manual adjustment.

Always read the changelog before applying an important update.
