LedPOINTE
The ROBE LedPOINTE is a compact hybrid moving beam fixture implemented in Theatrical: Realistic Pack (TRP).

Its TRP implementation combines colour, fixed and rotating gobos, projected effects, focus, zoom, frost, prism, dimmer, strobe and smooth movement control.
A particularly important part of its implementation is its static-wheel inventory: although it contains 11 service positions, not all of them represent conventional projected gobos. Some positions are used as beam reducers.

LedPOINTE supports TRP’s Focus Tool and Custom Gobo Service system, including serviceable static and rotating wheel positions.
DMX Modes
The LedPOINTE currently includes the following TRP personalities:
| Mode | Channels |
|---|---|
| Theatrical | 7 |
| Mode 1: Standard 16-bit | 39 |
| Theatrical Gobos | 10 |
The selected personality determines both the available controls and the total DMX footprint of the fixture.
For example, a LedPOINTE using Mode 1: Standard 16-bit at Address 1 occupies:
Channels 1–39
The compact Theatrical personalities provide simpler control, while Mode 1 exposes the broader fixture functionality.
Exact DMX channel-value ranges are not included unless separately validated against the complete personality implementation.
Implemented Functions
The LedPOINTE implementation includes:
- Pan and Tilt
- Smooth movement
- Dimmer
- Shutter / Strobe
- Colour control
- Fixed Gobos
- Rotating Gobos
- Beam Reducers
- Gobo projection
- Gobo movement effects
- Focus
- Zoom
- Frost
- Prism
- Prism / effect behaviour
- Projected effects
- Fixture-specific functions
LedPOINTE is primarily implemented as a compact hybrid beam fixture designed for aerial effects, projected patterns and concentrated beam output.
Fixture Configuration
Interact with the LedPOINTE using an empty hand to open its physical fixture display.
The common TRP fixture interface allows configuration of:
- Theatrical Network
- DMX Universe
- DMX Start Address
- Fixture Mode
- Lamp Mode
- Display Brightness
- Display Enabled / Disabled
- Pan Invert
- Tilt Invert
- Pan / Tilt Reset
- All Reset
Available Lamp Modes are:
- Standard
- Quiet
- Power
The physical display can also represent operational states such as:
RESET
PLEASE WAIT
NO DMX
When the fixture belongs to a Theatrical Network, configuration access respects that network’s membership and permissions.
Custom Gobos
LedPOINTE supports TRP’s Custom Gobo Service system.
Its serviceable inventories contain:

- 11 Static Wheel positions
- 9 Rotating Gobo positions
However, there is an important distinction within the static wheel.
Static Wheel
The first 7 positions are used as conventional fixed gobos.
The remaining static-wheel entries are used by the TRP implementation as beam-reducer positions rather than normal projected artwork.
They should therefore not all be described as interchangeable conventional gobos.
Rotating Gobo Wheel
LedPOINTE also includes:
9 Rotating Gobo positions
These form the fixture’s serviceable rotating-gobo inventory.
Servicing the Fixture
Use the Gobo Service Screwdriver on LedPOINTE to open its wheel-management interface.
From here, compatible positions can be inspected and modified.
Factory gobo items are only accepted where they are compatible with the fixture’s defined factory wheel library.
Player-created engraved Custom Gobos can be installed in compatible serviceable gobo positions without being restricted to the original factory artwork.
Removing an installed gobo returns its item to the player.
Configured service-wheel contents are stored persistently with the fixture.
Focus Tool
LedPOINTE is compatible with the Focus Tool.
This allows one or multiple LedPOINTE fixtures to be selected and aimed together using TRP’s multi-fixture focusing workflow.
Point Mode
All selected fixtures are aimed towards one selected position in the Minecraft world.
Two-Point Span Mode
Two world positions define the beginning and end of a target span.
TRP spatially sorts the selected fixtures and distributes their aim points between those positions.
The Focus Tool also provides:
- Auto Focus
- Auto Zoom
- Output Assist
- Manual Focus
- Manual Zoom
- Manual Intensity
The Focus Tool can store up to 32 compatible fixture targets at once.
RoboSpot & FollowMe
LedPOINTE is not currently compatible with:
- RoboSpot
- FollowMe
These systems are only enabled for explicitly supported fixture models.
LedPOINTE can still be aimed through normal DMX Pan/Tilt control or using the Focus Tool.
Flight Cases
There is currently no dedicated LedPOINTE flight case implemented in TRP.
Only fixture models with explicitly implemented matching flight cases can use TRP’s dedicated flight-case storage system.
Rigging & Mounting

LedPOINTE can be mounted on compatible TRP and recognised rigging structures.
Supported systems include:
- TRP F34 truss
- Theatrical truss
- Theatrical rigging pipes
- Recognised Theatrical Extra Lights structures
- Recognised SEF quad-truss variants
TRP’s F34 system supports appropriate:
- Top mounting
- Bottom mounting
- Side / rail mounting
- Compatible fixture orientations
LedPOINTE also supports the Truss Mount Tool.
On compatible horizontal F34 side mounts, the physical fixture angle can be adjusted from:
0° → 120°
in:
15° increments
This adjusts the physical rigging orientation and is independent from DMX Pan and Tilt.
Known Limitations
- RoboSpot is not supported.
- FollowMe is not supported.
- No dedicated LedPOINTE flight case is currently available.
- Not all 11 static service positions are conventional gobos; the later positions are used as beam reducers.
- Exact DMX channel-value ranges are not included unless separately validated against the complete personality implementation.
- Factory gobos remain subject to wheel compatibility when using the Custom Gobo Service system.
