LEDBeam 150

The ROBE LEDBeam 150 is a compact moving LED wash fixture implemented in Theatrical: Realistic Pack (TRP).
Its TRP implementation features 7 individually represented colour lenses, with personalities ranging from conventional wash control to individual pixel operation through a dedicated Pixel RGB mode. It also supports the Focus Tool and dedicated functional flight cases for transporting multiple fixtures.

The LEDBeam 150 is designed in TRP primarily as a compact wash fixture, while its Pixel RGB personality allows significantly more detailed lens-level control.
DMX Modes
The LEDBeam 150 currently includes the following TRP personalities:
| Mode | Channels |
|---|---|
| Theatrical | 7 |
| Mode 1: Standard | 22 |
| Mode 2: Reduced | 16 |
| Pixel RGB | 43 |
Mode 1: Standard is the default personality in the reviewed implementation.
The selected personality determines both the available controls and the fixture’s total DMX footprint.
Mode 1: Standard
The main detailed LEDBeam 150 personality.
It provides the standard fixture-control workflow while occupying 22 DMX channels.
Mode 2: Reduced
A smaller 16-channel personality for setups where the full standard footprint is not required.
Pixel RGB
The 43-channel Pixel RGB personality provides individual colour control over the fixture’s represented lenses.
This mode is particularly useful for more detailed colour effects and programming where each lens needs to operate independently.
For example, a LEDBeam 150 using Pixel RGB at Address 1 occupies:
Channels 1–43
Exact DMX channel-value ranges are not included unless separately validated against the complete personality implementation.
Implemented Functions
The LEDBeam 150 implementation includes:
- Pan and Tilt
- Smooth movement
- Dimmer
- Shutter / Strobe
- Colour control
- Wash operation
- Zoom
- Individual lens representation
- Pixel RGB control
- Fixture-specific colour and effect behaviour
The exact controls exposed depend on the selected DMX personality.
Pixel Control
The LEDBeam 150 contains 7 individually represented lenses in TRP.
Its Pixel RGB personality provides detailed individual colour control that is not available in the simpler wash-oriented personalities.
This allows the fixture to be used either as:
- A conventional moving wash
- A compact multi-source effect
- An individually controlled pixel fixture
The Pixel RGB personality uses 43 DMX channels, significantly increasing its footprint compared with the Standard and Reduced modes.
Fixture Configuration
Interact with the LEDBeam 150 using an empty hand to open its physical fixture display.
The common TRP fixture interface allows configuration of:
- Theatrical Network
- DMX Universe
- DMX Start Address
- Fixture Mode
- Lamp Mode
- Display Brightness
- Display Enabled / Disabled
- Pan Invert
- Tilt Invert
- Pan / Tilt Reset
- All Reset
Available Lamp Modes are:
- Standard
- Quiet
- Power
The physical display can also represent operational states such as:
RESET
PLEASE WAIT
NO DMX
When the fixture belongs to a Theatrical Network, configuration access respects that network’s membership and permissions.
Custom Gobos
The LEDBeam 150 does not support TRP’s Custom Gobo Service system.
It does not contain a serviceable conventional gobo wheel.
Its advanced functionality is instead focused on:
- Colour
- Wash output
- Zoom
- Individual lens control
- Pixel RGB operation
Focus Tool
The LEDBeam 150 is compatible with the Focus Tool.
This allows one or multiple LEDBeam 150 fixtures to be selected and aimed together using TRP’s multi-fixture focusing workflow.
Point Mode
All selected fixtures are aimed towards one selected position in the Minecraft world.
Two-Point Span Mode
Two world positions define a target span.
TRP spatially sorts the selected fixtures and distributes their aim points between those positions.
The Focus Tool also provides:
- Auto Focus
- Auto Zoom
- Output Assist
- Manual Focus
- Manual Zoom
- Manual Intensity
The tool can store up to 32 compatible fixture targets at once.
RoboSpot & FollowMe
The LEDBeam 150 is not currently compatible with:
- RoboSpot
- FollowMe
These systems are only enabled for explicitly supported fixture models.
The fixture can still be aimed using normal DMX Pan/Tilt control or through the Focus Tool.
Flight Cases
The LEDBeam 150 has two dedicated functional flight cases:

- LEDBeam 150 ×4
- LEDBeam 150 ×8
These are functional transport systems rather than decorative props.
They support:
- Animated opening and closing
- Dedicated opening / closing sounds
- Loading matching LEDBeam 150 fixtures
- Fixture storage according to case capacity
- Unloading fixtures
- Conversion into a movable case
- Player grabbing / movement
- Placement back into the world
A LEDBeam 150 flight case only accepts the matching fixture type.
Important: Flight cases store fixture type and quantity rather than a complete independent NBT record for every stored fixture.
Individual patch, configuration or other unique fixture data should therefore not be assumed to survive storage inside a flight case.
Rigging & Mounting

The LEDBeam 150 can be mounted on compatible TRP and recognised rigging structures.
Supported systems include:
- TRP F34 truss
- Theatrical truss
- Theatrical rigging pipes
- Recognised Theatrical Extra Lights structures
- Recognised SEF quad-truss variants
TRP’s F34 system supports appropriate:
- Top mounting
- Bottom mounting
- Side / rail mounting
- Compatible fixture orientations
The LEDBeam 150 also supports the Truss Mount Tool.
On compatible horizontal F34 side mounts, the physical fixture angle can be adjusted from:
0° → 120°
in:
15° increments
This changes the physical rigging orientation and is independent from DMX Pan and Tilt.
Known Limitations
- Custom Gobo Service is not supported.
- RoboSpot is not supported.
- FollowMe is not supported.
- Flight-case storage does not preserve complete individual fixture NBT.
- The Pixel RGB personality requires a significantly larger DMX footprint than the Standard or Reduced modes.
- Exact DMX channel-value ranges are not included unless separately validated against the complete personality implementation.
- Large quantities of fixtures using individual pixel control simultaneously may increase system and rendering load.
